A leading indigenous Oil and Gas Service Company requires the services of The QA/QC Manager
Shall be the Management Representative for Company.
Reporting to the CEO, he shall be responsible for initiation, development, control and monitoring necessary for the effective implementation of the Project Quality Assurance System. His duties shall include:
Managing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities of the company
Preparation, issue and control of the Project Quality Assurance Plan.
Arranging the submission of quality system documents to Client for information or approval as required by the contract.
Representing company on quality matters in its liaison with subcontractors, suppliers and external organization.
Establishing, maintaining and implementing a program of quality audits on the Joint Venture and its designers, subcontractors and suppliers.
Representing company during external audits.
Reporting on quality matters and attending management reviews of the system.
Review the results of inspections, tests and verifications and the management of the project records system to ensure adequate objective evidence of achievement of specified requirements is readily available.
The review and disposition of non-conforming items.
He delegates responsibility, as necessary to the QA/QC Superintendent and Site QA/QC Engineer
Any other duties that may be assigned to him from time to time.
Qualifications / Experience
ț University degree in the Sciences or Engineering discipline
ț At least 5 years practical experience in the oil & gas services industry
ț Experience in EMS / ISO certification processes
ț Strong planning and organization skills with ability to work under pressure
Strong personality, leadership and people management skills
