Choosing the best shopping cart in the market, if you are on the look out for one is not as easy as one would think. There are more than a hundred choices to choose from, you might just as well close your eyes and choose the one where that pointing finger lands on. However, there are some logical suggestions as to how you can choose a good shopping cart.
Narrow down your choices by doing the following:
· Choose from amongst those that were incorporated with the Google Check out feature. This is said to be an indication that the shopping cart software is kept up to date with technology in its features.
· Get a feel of how the software works and how it blends in the web. This can easily be done by doing some virtual shopping on stores that you like and see for your self how well their shopping carts perform.

· Test the efficiency of their customer service. Send out emails or bombard them with questions over the phone. Mark their efficiency in addressing your concern. How efficient will they be if you have already bought their product and end up saddled with a problem.
· Read the reviews but dont rely too much on what they have to say. Some reviews are paid for work.

Now that you have obviously shortened down the list, lets us see what are the most commonly disliked qualities amongst shopping carts:
· The software you may be considering changed the icon and the name into basket. Think twice about this since after getting used to the shopping cart idea, it will take you longer to remember that its basket now.
· Users are already required to click the buy button for an item you are still considering. Users are somehow uncomfortable with the feeling that they are being subjected to a forced sale. What is more unsettling is that you have to zero out the amount just to take it off your list.
· The user is constantly required to log in with his personal information before he places an item into his shopping cart.
· Some software sites make you scroll instead of simply clicking on simple tasks such as updating or making changes.
· The user is required to fill-up all sorts of information before he can be presented with the total bill.
There, from the short list, shorten it once more by striking out the ones that possess the most undesirable features.
