Every individual once had a vision of a better future, a future filled with the good things of life: a good car, a happy family, a beautiful house and perhaps a booming business or career.
Statistics however indicates that more than 60% of people who had such vision never get to their destination.
They end up living average life of regrets and painful memories.
What can be responsible for the death of their treasured visions?
They are called vision killers or destiny killers.
One may not easily know they are there, but they are deadly and dangerous.
>> FRIENDS
Fiend will either weaken or strengthen you. They will either draw you closer to your vision or take you farther away from you desired destination.
Associating with the right friends is important in actualizing our vision in life.
Some friends are deadly, because they will not only kill our vision, but will also ensure that the vision is buried.
The world second richest man- Bill Gates had a childhood friend called Paul Allen.
They both co-founded the Microsoft Corporation which today has become a worldwide brand.
Microsoft was a vision of Bill Gates, who had the good fortune of having a good friend in the person of Paul Allen who helped him actualize the vision.
Watch out for the type of friends you keep!
>> PRIDE
Pride is as deadly as a viper. The reason why it is deadly is this: A person may never know he or she is proud.
Pride will blind a man to the reality on ground.
Humility will cause a man to seek the counsel of others as he navigates his way to his desired destination.
A proud man will never stop to ask for direction in his journey towards self destruction.

>> PROCRASTINATION
Procrastination is defined as the act of postponing task which ought to be done.
It is a great killer of destiny and also of life.
Procrastination is a thief of time; the aim is to do what needs to be done when it needs to be done. Good self-management = decisive people.


>> LACK OF PLANNING
Someone once said and I quote: He that fails to plan, is planning to fail
Many of lifes failures are a direct result of lack of planning.
One of the most wonderful insect the world over is the ant.
When it is winter, they store up enough food in their colony.
During winter, when the cold is becoming unbearable, they never lack anything; because of the reservoir of food they had stocked pile
It amazes me, that Ants are better planners than some individuals.
It was not raining, when Noah built the Ark.
He had to plan ahead, because He knew the flood would surely come.
People were mocking him, and calling him names, but he kept on to the plan God had revealed to him.
He refused to be distracted.
The United States and other European countries are facing a serious economic crisis, because those at the helm of affairs refused to plan properly.

>> LAZINESS
Laziness is a deadly vision killer!
For those who are lazy, God instructs them to take a cue from the little ant.
Ants are noted for carrying objects that are bigger than them.
This is only made possible through sheer hard work and determination.
Ants are not only strong, but also hard working.
They are not scared of heavy task, but rather take pleasure in lifting these objects to their colony.
As individual, we must not look at how big a task is, but look inward at our God-given ability, and we would find it easier to accomplish task that seemed insurmountable.
For those who are lazy, poverty will surely come to them like armed men unaware.

>> Lack of foresight
To have foresight, implies the ability to see and think ahead.
It involves the ability to envision possible future problems or obstacles.
When a man has foresight, fresh ideas keep flooding in.
In the word of my mentor, Mr. Sunny Obazu Ojeagbese, Publisher of Success Digest, if a man keeps doing the same thing over and over again and he expects a different result that is another definition for insanity
